Compliance Manager, Dole Nordic AB

We are now looking for a meticulous and self-motivated employee for our role as Compliance Manager to our office in Helsingborg.

Your key objectives will be to govern and improve internal processes, systems and policies, make recommendations to ensure the risk to the business is minimized with a view to delivering improvements by advising, coaching and facilitating in order to not undermine the responsibility of management.
You will drive and coordinate the internal work with compliance and be responsible for reporting and answering questions about compliance within the Nordic companies. A couple of days a month you will visit the Danish office, 20 minutes south of Copenhagen.

Responsibilities
As Compliance Manager, you are responsible for driving, coordinating, and ensuring that the companies comply with both internal and external requirements in the form of rules, regulations, policies and laws.

• To plan, organize and carry out the internal controls function
• Responsible for preparation, documentation and governance of GDPR documentation
• Ensure that the organization is informed and trained to comply with policies and legislation via training sessions
• Conduct risk assessment of all departments in both Sweden and Denmark
• Report risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified and provide recommendations for improving the organization’s operations
• Evaluate compliance with existing Dole policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed
• Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and engage in continuous education and staff development re best practices
• Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
• Incident management involving security breaches
• Evaluate the organization’s readiness in case of business interruption
• Maintaining Dole´s governance framework & management system for the protection of privacy

Your profile

• Relevant education in law/business law and 3 – 5 years’ experience in Internal and/or external audit or Business Management in a rapidly growing business
• Experience from Compliance function
• Excellent commercial and financial awareness
• A demonstrated knowledge of GDPR and internal control framework
• Strong analytical skills
• Good cooperation skills with different roles and positions. Can build a network of contacts and create relationships that can help you achieve your objectives
• Easy to express oneself in speech and writing in English and one Scandinavian language (Swedish or Danish)
• The flexibility to work in a changing environment
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
